Hotel Terminal

A rework of album artwork I created for David Reid; A Glasgow based musician

"Hotel Terminal offers a glimpse into the lives of its eccentric and sometimes troubled residents: from the selfless manager and his resigning receptionist, to the struggling writer and desperate model, all of them are chasing the unattainable.
The songs comment on a wide range of social issues from female objectification and codependent relationships to bullying and the protests surrounding George Floyd's death in 2020.
Musically, the album plays with soul, funk and jazzy grooves with the ambition of placing its characters within a 70s Manhattanesque soundscape." - https://davidreid.bandcamp.com/album/hotel-terminal

The look of the building was taken directly from the architecture of the Chelsea Hotel in New York and the windows being lit was inspired by Alfred Hitchcocks "Rear Window" with the viewer only getting the slightest inclination that there may be something interesting going on in those rooms.
